Grand Final - Presidents Message

5 Sep by Chelsea Football Netball Club

Dear members,

Well what can I say what an amazing week what an amazing season, we are heading to the big Dance on Saturday and for the first time in the clubs history both Senior Men’s football and A grade Netball both making the grand final along with our C grade netball team.

Below I have outlined key pieces of information that you may find useful as we all plan the week ahead in different ways to support our players, coaches and support teams as we roll into Saturday.

The week ahead:

Thursday night:
• Last training night of the year so come down and support both groups as they do their final preparations for the big day from 6.00pm

Saturday:
• The Junior club are meeting at Chelsea oval in the morning at 10.30am for an egg & bacon brekky and the kids can have a kick of the footy then walking to the station to catch the train to Frankston.
• C Grade netball play at Langwarrin at 11.25 am.
• A Grade netball play at Langwarrin at 2.20pm.
• Keep your payment receipts from Langwarrin as this will get you into Frankston Park.
• Senior men’s football play at Frankston Park at 2.30pm, please consider parking/ travel arrangements as there will be minimal parking available
• If the Senior men’s football win the Premiership the cup will be presented by Brett Bowey who was awarded the VCFL medal for Best on Ground in the 2006 GF.
• Post game win or lose we will be celebrating the best season the club has had in 18 years, everyone is welcome to come back to the club to socialise and enjoy a great night.

Sunday:
• For those who won’t get enough on Saturday the upstairs rooms at Chelsea will be open to the members from 12.00pm.

Lets all get around the club and support both football and netball teams and hopefully we get to celebrate bringing home the silverware.

GO GULLS.

Thankyou
Michael Davis
President Chelsea FNC
