Welcome to round 2 of the 2014 season. We will be kicking round two off this week with our “Before the Game” function which includes dinner, interviews from both coaches and the return of James Dougy Lay to MC the night. After round one provided our players with an insight for what it takes to match it against the top teams they also provided Coach Paul Howroyd with a lot of confidence with the intensity and endeavour they played with throughout the entire game. What we look for each week is improvement and so far our players have improved at every stage and we expect that to happen throughout the year. Winning is not everything but the will to win is everything!

Our Netball teams gave it their all on Saturday but were still not good enough on the day. We welcomed new players Jo, Megan, Sarah, Kayla, Kristie, Georgina and Shannyn into our teams and feel we will only get stronger as the season progresses. There was lots of good game play from all teams and a positive attitude from all. Our brand new C team played their first official game together and are certainly a chance to do really well in this competition. We could not be more proud of all of our teams efforts on Saturday. We look forward to a challenging and fun year ahead
